What startet over 150 years ago with the production and distribution of wooden toys, has grown since the 1920s into a globally operating manufacturer of clothes hangers: the brand Weber Hangers. 
The wood has stayed, the toys have not. Since the reorientation of the company through Anton Weber, the creation of high quality clothes hangers is the focal point of our work.
Although even when it comes to the choice of materials, there have been new developements. Alongside hangers made from sustainably grown wood, we use our decades-spanning expertise and craftmanship for the creation of hangers made from metal and recycled plastic.
Nowadays we are distributing over 10.000 different model variants of hangers to customers all around the world. Despite our international trade we remain loyal to our company location in the beautiful Odenwald and to this day produce our hangers at our company premises in Bad König.

Production of wooden toys
The founder of Weber Kleiderbügel, Josef Weber, begins manufacturing his wooden toys in Brandau in the Ore Mountains, which are known far beyond the region's borders.

Around 50 years later, his son Anton Weber takes over the company and specializes in the manufacture of clothes hangers.

The abundance of beech and oak forests in the Odenwald was a decisive factor in the choice of the new company location. This is where we are still working for you today.
We have mastered our craft – for many generations
For the production of our hangers we are counting on traditional craftsmanship as well as novel innovations. As time went on, our company went through some modernizing and rationalizing measures, which opened up great opportunities to us. Little by little, Weber Hangers tapped into new markets in Europe and overseas and maintains international contacts with its partner shops.
The work in our production facility, despite the use of modern technologies, is still done by humans. Because without our employees, our company would not have become what it is today. That is why the personal contact to our employees as well as our customers always comes first for us. Because not only are we masters of our craft up to the finest detail, we also especially value our company- and service-culture.

Sustainability
We pay particular attention to sustainability and resource conservation in the production of our wooden clothes hangers. Our plastic hangers are made from recycled plastic and we can manufacture your hangers from FSC®-certified wood on request.
